The Texelgroup Nature Park is the largest of its kind in South Tyrol. The protected area covers regions between the Adige Valley to the south, the Schnalstal Valley to the west, the Passeiertal Valley to the east, and the main Alpine ridge to the north.
In Plars di mezzo, about a 15-minute walk from the campsite, you will find the chairlift to Velloi, which connects directly to the cable car into the nature park. The Texelgruppe hiking area is also accessible via various bus connections and cable cars.
